Clinton Edward Bowyer was born in the United States on May 30, 1979, in Emporia, Kansas. Chris and Jana Bowyer, his parents, raised him.

Andy and Casey Bowyer are two of his siblings.

He began racing motocross at the age of five then graduated to street stocks at Thunderhill Speedway in Mayetta, Kansas in 1996.

In the year 2000, Clint Bowyer won the Modified title there.

In 2004, he made his NASCAR debut in the No. 7 Chevrolet for Scott Traylor, finishing seventh in the ARCA Re/Max Series race at Daytona.

From 2005 until 2020, he raced in the NASCAR Cup Series.

In 2012, he co-hosted an episode of Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, and in 2015, he co-hosted an episode of A&E’s Duck Dynasty.

Clint and Lora Bowyer are still married. In April of 2014, Lorra and he tied the knot.
