Jennifer Aniston filmed scenes with Timothy Olyphant in Atlanta: lucky?

I think Jennifer Aniston lucked out this time. She currently shooting Garry Marshall’s Mother’s Day in Atlanta, and these are some photos from the set yesterday. You know why she’s lucky this time? Because she got to shoot some scenes with Timothy Olyphant. Damn, bruh. He looks really good in these photos too (apologies to Bedhead for jacking these!). Apparently, Olyphant is playing the ex-husband to Jennifer Aniston’s character. He’s remarried to someone younger, and the younger woman is out-mothering Aniston’s character’s children. These photos apparently show Aniston looking worried/concerned and Olyphant looking like a sex god. Who needs plot, really? Just put Olyphant in a nice shirt and have him saunter around for a few hours. I’d watch that.

Because I’m obsessed with reading about food, I ended up reading this story in People Magazine about how Jennifer recently had a girls’ night in Atlanta:

Girls night! Newlywed Jennifer Aniston is back to work — but that doesn’t mean she can’t indulge in a little down time with friends. The actress, who is in Atlanta shooting her upcoming film Mother’s Day, popped into the city’s Ecco restaurant with a group of female pals on Saturday. The group was “very casual and relaxed,” a source tells PEOPLE. “The table ordered a few wood-fired pizzas and a couple of pasta dishes, which they all shared. [And they enjoyed] lots of laughs.”

Located in Atlanta’s midtown neighborhood, the hotspot is known for their Mediterranean and Italian dishes such as house made mozzarella and basil pizza and spaghetti with arugula, mascarpone, black pepper and pecorino.

The source adds, Aniston “sat in full view of the restaurant [and] asked for no special service or privacy.”

The outing marked off a joy-filled month for Aniston, who wed Justin Theroux in early August (Theroux is also hard at work, having returned to the set of HBO’s The Leftovers following the couple’s idyllic honeymoon in Bora Bora).

The food sounds good, I would have probably gotten a pasta dish with no cheese. I enjoy the fact that Aniston is comfortable enough in her life these days that she’s totally fine with carbs. Good for her.

It feels like Justin has been filming in Texas rather endlessly, right? He’s been in Texas, on and off, for most of this year. From what I’ve seen – and I follow Aniston gossip somewhat closely – Aniston really hasn’t made that many trips to Texas to see Justin while he works, just as it doesn’t seem like Justin will make the journey to Atlanta to see Aniston. Hm. Granted, they don’t have to be joined at the hip, but they ARE newlyweds, you know? It’s a little weird.
