Manu Bennett is an actor from New Zealand. He is famous for acting as the Gallic gladiator Crixus in the Starz television series Spartacus.

He has appeared as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke in The CW TV series Arrow. Moreover, Manu has also starred as the orc commander Azog the Defiler in The Hobbit.

In addition, he is playing the role of Allanon in the MTV series The Shannara Chronicles.

He has a brother, Stephen Bennett. Manu grew up in Australia as his parents took him there.

Unfortunately, he faced an accident along with his family. He lost his mother and brother during the accident.

Manu holds dual citizenship in New Zealand and Australia. Manu holds mixed ethnicity of  Māori, English, Irish, and Scottish.
