Who is Paul Lotman?

Paul Lotman is an American professional volleyball player. He is the part of the United States men’s national volleyball team plus German club Berlin Recycling Volleys.

Paul Lotman was born as Paul Michael Lotman on Nov 3, 1985, in Lakewood, California, U.S.A. His ethnicity is caucasian.

As per parents, his father Albert Lotman died in 2011 and his mother’s name is Kathleen Lotman.

He was raised with two older brothers, Mark and Steven, and an older sister Shelley.

Paul Lotman professionally started playing volleyball in 2011 after he went to the Polish club Asseco Resovia Rzeszów. With the same club, he won three titles of Polish Champion in 2012, 2013, and 2015.

He left Asseco Resovia Rzeszów in May 2015. In June 2015, he was associated with the German team Berlin Recycling Volleys. He made his Olympic debut with U.S. national team in the 2012 Olympics.

Along with the national team, Paul Lotman participated in other several championships including the ‘NORCECA Championship’ (2009, 2011, 2013), and ‘FIVB World League’ (2013 and 2015).

Volleyball Teams

Paul Lotman’s first team was the Long Beach State 49ers. He joined it in 2004 and left the team in 2008. From there, he signed with Plataneros de Corozal in 2008.

Then from 2008-2009, he was linked with PAOK Thessaloniki V.C. and from 2009-2010 he was with Stade Poitevin Poitiers.

Paul Lotman’s other Volleyball teams are Blu Volley Verona (2010-2011), Asseco Resovia Rzeszów (2011-2015), Berlin Recycling Volleys (2015-2018), and Jakarta BNI Taplus (2018).

At present, he is associated with Calicut Heroes. He joined them in the year 2019.
