Is Space Jam on Netflix? Where to watch Michael Jordan's Space Jam

Ever since the first trailer for Space Jam: A New Legacy starring LeBron James came out, everyone has been trying to find the original to watch it before the long-awaited sequel arrives, and many are wondering if Space Jam is available on Netflix.

The festive feature shows a fictionalized account of what went down between Jordan’s first retirement between 1993 and when he returned to the game in 1995. In that time, he was enlisted by the Looney Tunes to help them win a basketball match where a group of aliens called Monstars are trying to enslave the beloved cartoon characters by winning on the court with the stolen powers of Charles Barkley, Shawn Bradley, Larry Johnson, and Patrick Ewing.

Along with Jordan and the other NBA athletes on hand, the cast of Space Jam is also comprised of Larry Bird, Theresa Randle, Wayne Knight, and Bill Murray. Billy West, Dee Bradley Baker, and Danny DeVito headline the vocal talents of the film.

The live-action animated sports comedy was released on November 15, 1996, grossing over $250 million worldwide, making it the highest-grossing basketball film of all time. Since then, it has amassed a cult following with a sequel on the way. It makes sense this title is one Netflix subscribers would love to watch on the streaming service.

Fans aren’t going to be happy when they find out whether or not the first feature film produced by Warner Brothers Feature Animation is available within the streaming powerhouse’s lineup. Space Jam is not available on Netflix.

But subscribers shouldn’t be too upset as there plenty of other options that fans will surely enjoy from start to finish. The Grizzlies, Underdogs, Invictus, Going For Gold, Real Steel, and The Main Event are just some of the exemplary choices on Netflix now.
