Beef is now streaming on Netflix, and tons of people are watching the new comedy-drama series. Steven Yeun and Ali Wong star as two strangers (Danny and Amy) whose lives cross after a road rage incident. Both obsessed with revenge, Danny and Amy will stop at nothing to take the other down, even if it’s negatively affecting their lives. Another character introduced in the first season is Isaac, portrayed by David Choe.
Isaac is Danny and Paul’s sketchy older cousin who is freshly released from prison after serving time because of some shady business he was involved in. Unfortunately, the shady business caused Danny and Paul’s parents to lose their motel business. But Isaac continues to state that he had nothing to do with it. We’re not going to spoil anything, but just know that Isaac continues to cause trouble for Danny and Paul even after being released from prison.
Below, you’ll find everything there is to know about the talented actor behind the Isaac character!
David was born on April 21, 1976, in Los Angeles, California. Additionally, he is 46 years old and his zodiac sign is Taurus.
The Beef star is believed to be about 5 feet 8 inches or 5 feet 9 inches tall. When he stands next to his co-star Steven Yeun who is 5 feet 9 inches tall, they look to be about the same height. Although David’s hair was medium-length in the series, it looks like he cut it short after filming and is now rocking a short hairstyle based on his recent Instagram posts.
You can find David on Instagram @davidchoe. He has 571k followers and counting and over 600 posts. If you scroll through his page, you’ll quickly notice that most of his posts are of his aesthetically pleasing artwork. However, he does post selfies, full-body photos, and photos of friends from time to time. You can check out more of his artwork on his website.
David is more of an artist than an actor, so he doesn’t have many projects under his belt. However, he has appeared in TV shows such as Better Things, The Mandalorian and The Choe Show. Of course, his most recent role is playing Isaac in Beef.
